The Green Project Lab at the HWR Berlin is dedicated to ecological, social and cultural issues in the university's sphere of influence. Together with (external) partners, students develop concepts and solutions in the field of sustainability.
This semester, the focus is on biodiversity. Using project management methods, students learn how to plan, implement and evaluate projects to protect and promote biodiversity. The aim is to promote the conservation of habitats, preserve biodiversity and create ecological and social synergies. As part of an excursion to a biodiversity-relevant stakeholder, students receive practical input and exchange ideas with experts.
The great need for action with regard to the protection of flora and fauna shows the social relevance of the topic, which we would like to address in the Green Project Lab [Biodiversity].
Objective
The Green Project Lab enables students to develop and implement practical projects in the field of sustainability. They acquire knowledge in the planning, implementation and evaluation of such projects and develop practical solutions for ecological and social challenges. This semester's topic is biodiversity.
Structure
The Green Project Lab is designed as an interdisciplinary seminar that runs for one semester. Each semester focuses on a different key topic in the field of sustainability (e.g. biodiversity, sustainable mobility, renewable energies).
