Higher Police Service (B.A.)

The programme comprises several internship periods totalling approximately twelve months, with the 3rd and 5th semesters accounting for the largest proportion. The internship consists of training and practical units at Berlin police stations. The two-week compulsory elective internship in the 6th semester can be completed at police stations within Berlin, the federal government, other federal states or abroad, primarily in member states of the European Union and in neighbouring countries, or at other authorities or non-governmental organisations. It can also be carried out, in whole or in part, as an excursion. Further information on the content and regulations can be found in the study regulations and the module catalogue.

Public Administration - Police Management (M.A.)

The programme does not include an internship as such. Students visit other offices as part of Module 10, which is the responsibility of the German Police University (DHPol). Further information can be found on the DHPol website.
