HWR Talents

The University provides support for its outstanding students and wants to encourage them to make use of and develop their potential whilst also being aware of their special social responsibility. Talented individuals are given advice and support by liaison lecturers with regard to the structure and planning of their studies, their first job and networking among their peers.

The top 4 % of individuals in a degree programme are identified once a year, with these individuals receiving their “Talente” certificate in the summer. The certificate can be used to apply for internships or job postings. The University also nominates some of the HWR Talent individuals for the scholarship application process of the German Academic Scholarship Foundation (Studienstiftung des Deutschen Volkes), subject to the students granting their consent for their data to be transmitted.
