Sustainability Council
Established to ensure the further development of the HWR Berlin sustainability strategy, the Sustainability Council brings together experts from the HWR Berlin with external cooperation partners to ensure progress in the development of our sustainability strategy. The council is made up of two members and their deputies drawn from each of the status groups at the HWR Berlin (students, professors, academic staff / part-time lecturers, technical and administrative staff) and five further members (internal or external appointments) nominated by the Vice President with responsibility for sustainability. The council is unique when compared to similar bodies at the HWR Berlin in that it is able to draw on a range of expertise from both within and outside the HWR Berlin. It was appointed by the Academic Senate for a period of two years, after which it will be subject to evaluation.
