Re-enrolment
If you wish to continue your studies at the HWR Berlin next semester, you can re-enrol by transferring the semester fee to the university’s account by the deadline.
What is the deadline for re-enrolment?
If you wish to continue your studies at the Hochschule für Wirtschaft und Recht Berlin (HWR Berlin) then you need to re-enrol for the next semester within this period:
- Re-enrolment period summer semester
01 December – 15 January
- Re-enrolment period winter semester
01 June – 15 July
- Department of Cooperative Studies

By re-enrolling, you declare that you wish to remain enrolled at the HWR Berlin. To re-enrol, transfer the semester fee stating your name and enrolment number within the specified period. You will be automatically re-enrolled if the transfer has been made on time.
Have you re-enrolled yet?
You have to re-enrol every semester. As soon as the HWR Berlin has registered payment of your semester fee, you can update CampusCard for use during the coming semester. You can check your re-enrolment status in your personal area of the campus management system:
If the campus management system shows a block − for example because your health insurance certificate is missing − you will not be automatically re-enrolled. Please contact the Office of Applications, Admissions and Enrolment to submit the missing documents.
Will anything change in the new semester?
Are you planning an intermission semester because you are expecting children, or do you want to complete a voluntary internship abroad? This will affect your status as a student. In these and other such cases, please submit the necessary application to the Office of Application, Admissions and Enrolment.
Where can I obtain confirmation of enrolment?
After re-enrolment, you will find your current confirmation of enrolment, your Bafög certificate and a receipt of payment for the new semester as documents in your personal area of the campus management system.
Have you missed the re-enrolment deadline?
The payment must be received by the re-enrolment deadline; otherwise, you will be required to pay an additional fee of € 19.94 by 14 days after the end of the re-enrolment deadline at the latest. After the re-enrolment deadline has elapsed, your re-enrolment will only be complete once you have paid the entire semester fee plus the late payment surcharge.
You have not re-enrolled?
Failure to re-enrol will result in automatic disenrolment at the end of the last semester in which you were enrolled at the HWR Berlin. You will be removed from the list of students enrolled at the HWR Berlin.
