Research Support Services

HWR Berlin offers all university members advice on and support in acquiring funding from national and European third-party funding sources. We also provide information on the university’s internal research funding and support services.

The central division Research Support Services is your contact point for all questions pertaining to the funding of research projects. We can inform you about suitable funding programmes for your research activities and assist you in submitting applications.

The central division Research Support Services supports you:

• by identifying suitable funding programmes for your research activities
• by providing individually tailored advice on obtaining third-party funding for research initiatives
• in the processing and financial planning of project applications
• in the planning of contracted research
• in liaising with third-party funders / project sponsors
• by regularly providing information on current calls for tender

The division is also responsible for:

• the encouragement and promotion of young researchers and academics
• the commissions for research and young researchers at HWR Berlin
• the reporting and documentation of research efforts

The division provides information about:

• research activities at HWR Berlin
• external research funding and third party funding
• internal research funding and support services at the university
• specific funding from EU applications at the university
