A cutting-edge Bachelor’s degree programme to prepare yourself for the future. Taught in conjunction with the world-leading Siemens AG, this cooperative studies degree programme Business Administration distinguishes itself from other Business Administration programmes through its innovative teaching model. This is reflected in its leading position in the CHE league table.
The closest-possible combination of theory and practice which the appli- cation-based project teaching provides, enables students to apply what they know in a real-world context. Learning in context, comparing their knowledge with other fields and addressing complex questions, students learn to develop new ideas and apply them to the world from which they are drawn. Benefiting from a close working relationship with both teachers and company employees, students are able to understand and evaluate company processes at the point of their implementation. This opens new perspectives on the processing of practical tasks. After studying only seven semesters, students are awarded two qualifications: a Bachelor of Arts and Industriekaufmann/-frau (IHK), thereby increasing their employability.
Professional field
Working closely with Siemens AG, students start their career with a world- beater on their CV. Regular practice phases provide the best possible prepa- ration for a subsequent career with a globally-active employer. Graduates of this course move into a range of roles including positions along the entire value creation chain (such as Purchasing, Logistics, Service) and Project Management, Accounting/Controlling or HR. With excellent employability ratings, this degree programme also qualifies its students to study on a Mas- ter’s degree programme.
Degree structure
The cooperative studies Bachelor’s degree programme Business Administra- tion is made up of alternating phases of study, training and company practice with Siemens AG.
