The SMC2022 is a BarCamp, a dynamic and flexible conference format emphasizing the active exchange of ideas, focuses on practice and theory in security management.
At BarCamps, in addition to fixed presentations and sessions, participants are given the opportunity to "bring along" their own contributions to the track topics – i.e., "IT Security", "Risk & Crisis Management" or "Crime Prevention" – and propose them to the other participants as a session during the "kick off". The form of contributions is not fixed. Thus, participants can propose, for example, a lecture, a workshop, a "round table". The length, however, is limited to 20-30 minutes in order to have enough time for interaction. The final program will be determined on the day of the SMC2022. Following a keynote speech, the final "session plan" will be presented and participants can decide which sessions they would like to attend.
The circle of participants consists of our international partners from practice and science, our current students of the security study programs at the HWR (Security Management B.A. and Master as well as International Security Management M.A.) and our alumni. In addition, selected companies and organizations from the domain of security management are also invited.

Kind regards,
