The Deutschlandticket is personalized and will only be made available in digital form. There will be no analog version, e.g. chip card. Furthermore, the VBB logo will no longer be printed when you validate your CampusCard in one of the ticket machines. In the event of a ticket inspection, the Deutschlandticket must be shown on the smartphone and a valid, official photo ID must be carried.
The cost of the Deutschlandticket is already included in the semester fee, so you do not have to pay anything extra. If you have a privately purchased Deutschlandticket, you must cancel it yourself to avoid paying twice.
