The winter semester starts internationally
Welcome to Berlin! The winter semester 2022/23 has begun for the international exchange students of the HWR Berlin. The first meeting took place on 05.09.22 in the auditorium at the Schöneberg campus.
The HWR Berlin is delighted to welcome a total of 274 exchange students from 51 different nations to the Schöneberg and Lichtenberg campuses. 266 of them are starting their first semester at the HWR Berlin.
Before the semester begins in October, the guest students can get to know Berlin and improve their language skills during a two-week intensive German course. In addition, a varied cultural programme awaits the guest students over the next few days, including a boat tour through Berlin and a guided tour along the Berlin Wall and through various museums such as the Futurium.
Study abroad at one of our partner universities
The International Office is looking forward to sending more HWR Berlin students to our international partner universities for an exchange semester in the forthcoming semesters. Interested students can find out about the possibilities and receive individual advice during the International Days.
The application period for a stay abroad starting in the winter semester usually begins in October/November and for the summer semester in April/May. Exact dates can be found in the International Office Moodle Kurs course of the respective department.
