Study the Brewing Industry in the Former Home of the German Brewing Association
The HWR Berlin Summer School is now in full swing. Over the coming weeks more than 130 students from 23 different countries are studying a range of business, law and language programmes, as well as deepening their cross-cultural experience through a brand-new mandatory module on intercultural perspectives.
Applications are now open for the HWR Berlin’s brand-new Winter School programme focusing on the strategies that underpin the global brewing industry. The two-week programme, which is the only short-term course of its kind in Europe, will allow current students and recent graduates from across the globe to study the latest trends and challenges faced by the industry in one of the world’s most important beer markets. Running from the 6th to the 19th of January 2019, the programme will also include class excursions to related institutions and companies and a varied cultural programme which will allow students to discover Berlin’s brewing scene and multi-faceted culture and history.
Where best to study the strategies that underpin the global brewing industry than in Germany—one of the world’s most important beer markets. The HWR Berlin which is housed in the same building as the former headquarters of the German Brewing Association is not only the perfect location for such a course, it also has the specialist academic expertise to match.
The programme is open to all current students and recent graduates (Bachelor and post-graduate) across the world who wish to deepen their knowledge of this fascinating industry and understand how industry-specific trends fit with broader global market developments.
